Support Teacher Literacy and Numeracy (STLaN) coordinates, plans and assists in the delivery of programs designed to maximise the performance of average and above average students.
Children requiring additional support (including students who may be gifted and talented) are identified by the class teacher and referred to the Student Support Committee for further assessment and programming.
Children who are experiencing learning difficulties and/or are entitled to additional funding such as indigenous students, or students whose parents are from non-English speaking background are all coordinated through the Learning Support Program.
Trina Murphy is our fulltime support Teacher, she coordinates and is involved in the delivery of learning support provided throughout the school to children in mainstream classes.
